The four seasons in Turkish are:
İlkbahar (Spring): İlkbahar starts in March and lasts until June. During this season, flowers bloom, trees and plants grow new leaves, and the weather gradually becomes warmer.
Yaz (Summer): Yaz begins in June and ends in September. It is the hottest season in Turkey, with temperatures sometimes exceeding 40°C. Tourists flock to the beaches and coastal resorts during this season.
Sonbahar (Autumn): Sonbahar starts in September and lasts until December. During this season, the leaves on the trees turn yellow, orange, and red before falling off. The temperature starts to drop, and the days become shorter.
Kış (Winter): Kış begins in December and continues until March. This is the coldest season in Turkey, with snow and frost common in many parts of the country. Many people celebrate New Year's Eve during this season, and ski resorts become popular among tourists.
